Grateful for YOU!
Grateful for you everyday & a little extra today.
I didn’t sleep well last night & woke up feeling a bit exhausted & cranky.
I needed to drop my partner off at his gig & was trying to shift my energy but the exhaustion was winning, especially since we have a long day ahead with family.
While that is wonderful, it is also very stressful. So good sleep would have helped a lot. I was stressing & future tripping about being tired & as a result of that, fearing being extra triggered today.
Then my partner said to me, “I am grateful for many things, but most of all you, my little weirdo.”
And my heart melted & my face broke out into a huge smile. I felt so seen & loved.
My partners expression of gratitude shifted my cranky energy in an instant.
So yeah, gratitude may seem overplayed as a daily practice, but there is a reason for that.
It really, realllllly works.
Give yourself & the ones you love the gift of gratitude everyday.
It heals.
It moves mountains.
It sparks miracles.
It spreads love.
And the world needs a lot more love.
Thank you for being here. Thank you for giving me a reason to rise up everyday & do my soul work. Although it is my passion, it isn’t always easy & so you being here with me on this journey makes it all worthwhile.
SO very grateful for each & every one of you.
Holidays can be filled with joy & grief…for loved ones who are no longer on the earthly plane…for intense family dynamics (even though you love them like crazy)…and the myriad of other emotions they can illicit.
Take care of you.
Step outside & take a breath if you need to.
Go to the bathroom & take a dance break to shake out the energy.
